Today is the anniversary of the day on which the title “Basilica” was granted to St. Michael’s. It is a special day in the parish’s history. This is also one of the days in the year when, by participating in our Basilica Liturgy, you may obtain a plenary indulgence (the customary requirements for indulgences must be observed as well: going to confession, receiving the Eucharist, and praying for the intentions of the Pope). The Basilica will be open from 11-1pm.
